Guide buddy from Wy sent me this.
Big bow kill.
Son of a motherless goat,
That is a big one. Nice pictures, thanks forsharing
Great looking bucks.
Very nice antelope!!!
I’ve always wanted to go out there for an antelope but that point system etc is confusing.
What's your questions on point systems?? Maybe I could answer some for you. PM me or this could be it's own thread.
Love to see a thread covering out of state "destination hunt" info.
A friend goes out for elk, pronghorn, mulies, etc and i can't seem to get a simple explanation on the point system from him.
What's the questions?
How do they measure goat horns? Cause that one may be a world record if spread is measured lol. It couldn’t be any further away.
No spread. Horn length, prong length, 4 mass measurements.
Nice. I like non typical lopes
Thanks for taking the time...
What states have the best access (elk, mulies, sheep, pronghorn)?
Not looking to hunt "non edibles"... lol
How to accumulate points in those states? Best public hunting opportunities? Etc...
I know Google can bring a lot of answers, but you're obviously well traveled for these hunts so I'll take advantage of your experience, since you offered.
I'm not opposed to outfitters, but canned hunts aren't my gig.
I have connections in Alaska if I can find the time for a proper trip, so I'm interested in lower 48 stuff.
