It's tough to win a game when our best player PJ is only on the floor for 20 mins. EJ Montgomery played more minutes than him. Travis fouling out with only 28 mins hurt too. Those guys ARE our toughness and without them we aren't the same team.

Those 2 have to stay out of foul trouble and on the floor for us to do anything in the tournament.

Yep, and that slowdown is on Cal. As is not calling time out when UT went to zone.

That’s the worst kind of loss. Leading by 8 with 2 minutes and change left. 6 possessions with no score. Going home with time outs in your pocket and a missed tying basket 6” from the rim.. worst way to lose

As a Tennessee fan, today was an embarrassment.

After beating UK Tenn didn't have anything left. On any given day anybody can win it seems.

You are right, @Wildcat . UT couldn't get over the emotional hangover of beating UK fast enough. I am really worried about their stamina going into the tournament.

Hats off to Auburn. They are a very under rated team and Pearl will have them ready come tournament time.

Heck the way they shot it they could’ve beaten anyone today. Most of those 3s were well contested and they were knocking them in from everywhere.

Going into the game today every Tennessee fan I talked to or heard talking thought that they had the auburn team beat already after beating the cats. I believe the players must have thought so too. Auburn played very well.

I’m guessing UK a 2 seed in same region as duke as 1 seed.

I believe it was the next level of beat down... I’d call it a good old fashion ass whoopin.

Tennessee wasn’t even remotely the same as when they played Ky. They were slow transitioning... not as physical in the paint. Which hats off to Auburn ... but Pearl needs to give a little credit to the Cats for “softening” them up for them.

Which I heard one of the announcers say it’s been since 1979 (40 years) since Tennessee had won a SEC Championship. Guess it will take awhile longer now... lol.

I’m just surprised that UK is not in the bracket with Duke Or Louisville.

  14. UK caught a break honestly as a 2, that’s a good bracket.

I agree and said that earlier that a 2 seed may help them. They may not have done a bit better being a 1 seed.
