    Good news from Eastman

Just so you guys know, I bought a Gorilla arm to video my hunts last year. In the past year, I lost/misplaced the base that attaches the camera to the arm. I called to order a new one and was told that the part was unavailable and that the arms are maufactured oversees so there are no replacement parts available. In essence, I have a 38 dollar piece of scrap metal. I wrote them an e-mail voicing my displeasure but I dont expect any help. If you have one, make sure you don't break any parts and if you don't, SAVE YOUR MONEY!!

    Thanks for letting me vent...

Jeff I see you're located in Lex.
I've been known to manufacture pieces in the past.
Not that I've come across your exact problem but would be willing
to help out a feller if he needed.
I'm in Irvine and if you'd like to pursue the possibility that I can help
    give me a holler.

You may find a piece like the missing one at a camera shop. Not sure is it's like the mount for a camera to a tripod or not.

Hey Guys, I got some good news today. I e-mailed the company via the website and told them what I thought about Gorilla and the company service in general ( It wasn't real pretty. ). Brian Wright emailed me back and asked specificly what piece was missing. I heard from him today that he would get one out to me. So, my faith is restored in humanity and I might get to tape some hunts after all.

I especially wanted to thank Rick for his offer to help fabricate a holder. Thanks Man!! And Multi for his always helpful suggestions.. ;-)
