Best Ky Taxidermist? (Post Pics If You Can)

Justin Tinsley (Central KY Taxidermy) did my last deer & did a heckuva job. I've seen a bunch of his other work as well & only have good things to say about it.

Price is $350 I got mine and my dads back in about 10.5 Months. He is good sso he has a lot of customers.

Obviously everyone has their favorite...But as far as professionalism, customer service, and truly awesome work, my money goes to Clearwater Taxidermy in Louisville, KY. Jim and Barb are an awesome married couple who own and operate a very successful taxidermy shop in the Bluegrass Industrial Park in Louisville. 11606 Electron Dr, Louisville, KY 40299-3860 (502) 267-8269. Jim does everything from deer, to African elephants, other exotics, fish, etc. They are good hard-working Christian folks and they won't disappoint.

Jim is a good guy, don't get me wrong, and a very good taxidermist. The guy at bullseye moved up here from FL. Actually their whole family moved up from FL. They live really close to our farm and are very nice people. Something happened, won't mention it on here, and caused Jim and RB to split up.

I've used Rigdon's Taxidermy in cave city. Both mine and my buddies mount from 2011 are from there. Mine and a buddies from this year are on the list. I don't have a great up close pic of either but here is my best. Buck on the right.

He's a heck of a guy too.

Jere Hughes in Fulton, KY Very fair. Apprenticed under Jim Bondurant back in the day. Has been doing it for about 30 years. Only does deer, so he's not gonna keep you waiting for ever

This is my 2012 deer it is not all of the way done in this pic the nose and stuff still need to be done in this picture let me tell you the finally product looked great. And he only charges 350-375 and will have it back to you in no longer then 3 mo no matter what. He is good located in scottsville ky.
