Since I dont watch, hunting shows anymore, just to commercialized, but , I have hunted with some of the best in their time, they all have 1 thing in common with everybody else, they cant kill them if they arent there. So with that being said, Location is the most important goin in, but given a location, that has a few decent bucks, take away the cell cameras, all the gadgets , out there to day, who in your opinion would you put your money on, goin in blind, have to read the sign, and scout would come out best. My opinion, Deer or turkey, I would put my money on Justin Hogan , Ky hardwoods hunter, I said I Dont watch shows anymore I do his. While I know there are a lot of good hunters out there, who in your opinion, could go in, in the blind and still come out successful .

Haven’t killed one yet this year. I tend to agree, and I like them and their style better than anyone, but there it is.

Guy from Morgantown area, Lance Chapman. He makes the archery circuit every year, hunts multiple states. Kills big dang deer every year, in about every state he hunts.

    To the original question:

who in your opinion, could go in, in the blind and still come out successful

Here's something I find really reassuring.

Dan Infalt, Greg from Tethrd, The Hunting Public, DIY Sportsman, and a bunch of other guys have done these public land challenges the last couple years. They all show up and hunt a big public property somewhere in MN or WI. They scout like crazy, they talk strategy, they all go out to kill deer.

Last year, Joe from the Hunting Beast missed a 6 pointer, and then ended up killing a similar one.

    This year:

Far as I can tell, one dude got a doe.

How many guys can really 'go in blind and come out successful?' Consistently? These are supposed to be the best in the business. The success rate is pretty low.

Makes me feel better about how good I'm doing [or not.]

Most of the best hunters i know hyou wont find on tv, most stay off socisl media and you might as well talk to a tree if you think your going to pump them for info.

Anybody ever watched any Catman outdoors vids on YouTube? I’m subscribed to his channel. He has no problem taking the game he hunts.
