If you have ever went to your truck/car, no matter where you are, and found that you have a dead battery, it’s a pain in the ass. I dealt with some electrical issues in my duramax and tried a few different “portable jump starters” after my battery died on me due to said electrical issue. Most could not handle cranking the starter on my 6.6L V8. Well I finally found one that worked for me: I don’t give free plugs to many products, however this is one I feel is a necessity for anyone who brings their truck off grid often, as I have found myself in bad situations with dead batteries. https://www.amazon.com/Battery-NEXPOW-22000mAh-Portable-Q9B/dp/B082ZZ2W14 happy Friday Kentucky outdoorsmen! -BBS
Compact looking gadget. I keep trickle chargers on my skis and also keep a power converter in my jeep at the surf.
I bought a different brand like that a few years ago. I love it. I’ve jumped diesel trucks, atvs and several 140hp plus tractors with it. Unreal something that small jumped big engines. Several friends have bought them now and are amazed how good they are.
There is a guy in our crew back home whom builds batteries; so, none of us ever really worry about it.
Shop around on Amazon. I believe the same factory in China makes all of them but puts different names on them. I have one that looks awfully similar to that one, but it's a Buture. Regardless, it works. I used mine 5-6 times and then went to charge it up thinking it would be dead (says up to 20 starts on 1 charge), and it still had over 3/4 of its charge left. Didn't take it long at all to bring it back to full charge.
i did quite a bit of searching before I bought this one, from what I could tell none of them were quite as high as this 2200mAh in the price range. Lots of 200pmAh. Truck was sitting dead again yesterday and it got it’s second use, worked great. Then 5 mins later a guy in my parking lot had a dead f350 work truck, got him jumped in a jiffy too!
