How? 5 million wouldn't fund state government for a week. Here's a breakdown of the 2020-2022 budget requests and recommendations . Check out page 48. Looks like they are requesting/recommending FW gets about a 10 million increase.....

Beshear already stole 5.5 million from KDFW Boater registration funds and transferred them into the General Fund. How this was done quietly I do not know. They tried this crap in my old state which was funded by licensing and registrations just like KY, and the sportsman kicked up a big stink, because it is not the Governors money to raid as far as i know, i really don’t know the statutes or structure here very well. I read (after the fact) that a few people fought him over it but really a coalition of sportsman being informed is whats needed. I didn’t cop on to this till lately myself. Who knows what else is going on now.
To be clear we had one guy in my old state, that was a relentless watchdog, at much personal expense, time, and effort, and was at the capitol and fish n wildlife all the time, a true liason, and he published a coalition newsletter that cost literally a couple bucks a yr. to join. Where a minority of sportsman subscribed, but any significant news spread like wildfire through this guys effort and he informed and rallied the troops. Probably the most under appreciated and most important guy in the whole State regarding the well being of fish and game and sportsman. He made the Senators move a muscle instead of most shrugging their shoulders, and even though he was little known he got the sportsmans voices backing the causes very well when needed. Seems easy to miss this news till after the fact here. Is there any sportsmen’s watchdog org here i am not tuned into?

The crooked Democrats have been trying to do that for 30 years. This Bozo might get it done using the "emergency" excuse. If he does, it will happen every time they screw up the budget from now on.

I can see another travesty in all of this. The fact that we are paying someone in f&w $140,000 yr. For services rendered I can see maybe topping out at $40,000.
