I’ve got several of them as is, but looking at getting a customized Crooked River with the S90V steel. Any of y’all have one? If so does it take an edge pretty well and retain it? Thanks
S90V holds an edge longer than all but two or three steels. Maybe S125V, cpm 121 rex or maybe Z-wear.It will cut circles around almost anything. Great steel, about 9% Vanadium so youll need a diamond stone like a DMT or Atoma to sharpen(within a reasonable amount of time)..Though depending on what your doing you might not have to sharpen it every six months.. A strop with a little diamond paste will keep it sharp a long, long time without a full on sharpening
I have the crooked river but with s30v so can't comment on the steel. It's a little big for edc. It's a nice knife though.
Sharp knife Cp! (Pun intended) What's the limited edition Snody about? I like the looks of that handle too... what's it composed of?
Carbon fiber looks like ,Im not sure. I think these were a a design by Mike Snody and there was only 500 ever made. They have one on Ebay starting bid of 335.00. Rare knives I hear....
Had a Snody Gotham that was limited edition. Didn’t realize what it was worth. Was on phone with benchmade getting a new pocket clip and they told me all about it. Only a few where made. Lost it somehow and never found it. That’s my luck though. Was gonna put it to when new pocket clip came in.
