Excellent work! I've got a Savage Axis and man that thing is flimsy. I painted the stock on it and you've motivated me to post couple pictures.

Macarbo make a stock stiffener for the axis that snaps in the forearm I ground mine out and filled it with fiberglass the filled the inside of the pistol grip with 2 part epoxy it really made a difference.
