I was going to stay out of the woods until late October, but forecasts show a dramatic change in the weather Friday night into Saturday morning. 45 degrees Saturday morning!!! I'm going to go!!! Wish me luck! Does this fact change any of your thoughts about hunting this Saturday?

I usually wait until mid October as well but I’m going Saturday as well. I may just sit and observe travel patterns but will have bow in hand!

We are close enough now that I can believe the cold weekend forecast. Good luck @hunter40502

My pals from Wv advised me to bring another layer to the mountains this year. Mid to upper 30's this wknd in the mornings. I'm pumped and wishing for a skiff of snow to make them black sob's stand out better. Should get em on their feet more too packing on weight. No skeeters or ticks to contend with, just unreal numbers of chipmunks lol.

Thanks, man!!! I have my eye on a tall 12 point. I know he's eating in a certain food plot at night, and I think I know where he beds and will hunt between the two Saturday morning, with a good wind if the forecast holds. :)
