Bear killed on Dixie Highway - down town Muldraugh, Ky.

    A 262 pound bear was struck and killed by a car, Wednesday, at 10 PM, on US 31-W in Muldraugh, Ky. Meade county.

    Saw that on the news. I'd say once they get "settled in" on Fort Knox they will be here to stay.

    there was one wondering around Bardstown a couple of years or so ago. i doubt its the same bear.. i dont mind if the species is preserved, just not in my neighborhood, suits me just fine...!!

    The driver should be awarded the “key to the county” or some other award for the good deed they accomplished.

    For the life of me, I don't understand why KDFWR wants that population to build.... It causes nothing but conflict, potential injury, and hurts all other species... I just don't get it.

    Got all the coons I can stand, have no desire for any that weigh several hundred pounds.....

    Ordered 4 traps yesterday (For coons) if the bears come to Owen co ill have to order bigger traps. LOL

    Young males come through yearly. There’s one that’s on Scott’s ridge every year. Not sure if same one or not but my cousin gets pics every year
