I'm not sure how I should feel about that. A first reaction is......I don't like it.

That's why I only shop Amazon. Can't beat their prices and don't have to deal with crowds. Win - win.

Neither were reasonable, cant imagine what the lack of competition will do for prices, plus side, maybe they'll build a second fish exhibit.

Both overpriced, but Cabela's return policy was worth the bump.

Already a thread on the community forum on this. It's been in the works for close to a year. BPS basically had to get the price right. Read an article yesterday where it said BPS wants to keep the Cabelas name and products. If you guys love deer hunting and stories of big deer, take a road trip to Wheeling and visit the deer cave. That's the closest "real" Cabelas that I know of. Ville, Lex, and BG are just outlet stores...with big store prices.

Ebay, Amazon, sportsman guide is the only places that get my hard earned cash. I could careless about a name. The deer I kill for sure could care less.

I wonder if they will honor each others gift cards. I have several of each in my wallet.

I guess I'm a little different than most. I work less than a mile from cabelas and can't hardly stand to go in that place much anymore. Never have what I want or if they do it's outrageous on price. BPS is way better IMO. Yes they aren't very cheap either, but I know they will have what I want when I get there and sometimes they are cheaper on things.
