    Anyone?

Could be that too I guess. One was following me around all day yesterday, and the beginning of today. My daughter caught a couple of smaller bluegill, so I tossed them to the Blue Heron who proceeded to eat them. He then left us alone and I guess flew off to take a nap.

    Blue heron.
I hate blue herons. Especially that noise they make when you troll around a point and spook the nasty sumbitches. Had one picking off the baby wood ducks on the farm back in April

The pond behind our house, when we moved in 4 years ago contained thousands, possibly millions of frogs and zero fish. The croaking at night was deafening outside. I’d kill 50 small ones every time I mowed. Then the Blue Herons and a pair of Green Herons found the pond, and I’m happy they did. Probably cut into the frog population by 80% and I’m not exaggerating.

Sometimes pull outs happen. Or sometimes should.
