They think they hit the big time having their creation posted on Barney’s cheap eatin’ thread.
We just got home from fishing Willisburg Lake and thankfully I made this today. We were starving. Unfortunately looks can be deceiving. Although it tasted great, it was tough as hell. He and I went caveman on the leg and thigh. Will put the breast on slicer tomorrow. It was juicy as hell but that exterior was quite chewy.
There is no higher honor!
Your girls lovely creation has NAILED the perfect epitome of this thread! Thanks, ladies!
I'm a fan. Their hot sauce is great too
Just now sliced up the breast. The meat
is moist and great but the rub I used is a little too sweet for turkey.
Tried something with deer shoulders besides running it thru the grinder. One shoulder off a 60 pound doe I killed this mornin. In the crock pot for about 4 hours on high, with apple juice and plenty onion. Shredded then added some cheap bbq sauce and various seasoning that I won't remember next time. Surprised myself! Me and the little lady loved it and the kids even liked it!
I tried them out yesterday from the truck but they shouldn’t be in this thread at $10 a pound lol. They were likely the best smoked pork of any kind I’ve ever had, melt in your mouth delicious and that’s all I’m gonna say. If you follow the video above you’ll be in love and your mammy might get slapped ha.
Had a sweet tooth last night
DamDawg. Looks great, i could eat the whole thang.
I cant figure out how to trim a front shoulder properly. Did you pull out the tendons and silver after it cooked or before?
After. It all just seperates real easy at that point
Some doves followed up with some eggs.
Them are real good skillets..
Quick breakfast this morning.
