    Sav A Lot had Boston Butt pork roast on sale this week. I smoked a 9# one yesterday on my Lectric Smoker. It turned out very good, and made a lot of hawg, this is a large pan.

    Last night's meal. Grilled deer steak, portobellas, and sweet corn. Had my boy fire up the grill so I didnt pay attention to how high it was turned up. It came out a bit too rare but was still great.

    Down to about 1 and a half deer now after putting 8 in the freezer. Didnt even can any last year. About time to restock

    I have one in the smoker right now sittin' on top of hickory stave scraps from axe handle projects. $1.19/lb. from Kroger.

    Right before wrapping. Then to 200 degrees, and only a short rest.

    Buddy of mine smoked. We had tenderloin and 3 whole chickens. Have some brews and listening to tunes now.

    Nope. Industrial stretch wrap. It can be buried in deep freeze for 3 years with no freezer burn. Wrap it tight with no air. About 8 layers. Have used it for 20 yrs

    Webp.net-resizeimage (1).jpg I just took pork belly out of smoker...it had been in freezer 3 years wrapped same way....we been eating out of freezer for a week now...love it..thank you Jesus..
