SOS for breakfast this morning.

#metoo Barney but with my usual pork sausage again. Does anybody else load up their sausage with extra sage and red paper flakes?

Pulled a pack of Hatch green chili sausage from the freezer for breakfast. It went down really good with some eggs and a couple of leftover tater cakes!

Venison stew with little crispy cornbread swirlies to crumble in and king-size cornsticks for good eatin'!

No cheap ribeyes today, but did get this sirloin, not my favorite cut but not too bad if you don't over-cook it.

Steak was $7, potato a $1, so like @Nock, $8 out the door. Not too bad ....

Corned beef, happy St Patty’s Day.

I just left a local food truck and had a corned beef Reuben myself. They make the best I've ever eaten. Also found a corned beef brisket on sale that I snatched up today. Manager said they may have a few more in a couple days. I'm gonna keep a check.

I bought several corned beef briskets on sale last year. I gave each of the kids some and froze the rest. I thawed and fixed one for my wife and me for dinner today.

Carrots, taters and cabbage from the cellar, green tater onions from the garden and a pone of Gourdseed cornbread.
