The loaf pan is interesting as well as well as the mashed tater kettle. What are they?

The loaf pan is cast iron from Camp Chef and the tater pan is a big Club Aluminum Dutch oven. Ironically in this case, the cast iron is newish and the big pot is vintage!

Was actually surprised by how bland it is. Tastes like a cheap cut of beef. Its really good stew meat, but not sure its anything beyond that.

We're thinking of cooking up the next batch for burritos or enchiladas, something like that. This is meat that really needs to be slow cooked.

'Course this was the hams. The back strap is much more flavorful, but a bit chewy.

The important thing is its definitely edible, and we didn't wast the animals.

Lady hunter thanks again for the potato soup recipe. We had it again tonight. I like to add scallions and bacon bits. Girlfriend likes to also add cheddar cheese. That’s some honey cornbread too. It was delicious.

Fried cabbage is one of the best meals ever. We try to have cabbage at least once a week year round!
