We decided to do something a little different with some of the deer burger from my last kill. We ended up doing 50# of bratwurst last night. Try to get them smoked this evening.

It definitely does, I mistakenly told someone the other day that it would hook to the 1 hp grinder. I somehow had it hooked up testing it but under load it will not hook up. Regardless it still worked fantastic.

Beef stew should be ready in the morning, just set it to simmer and shall thicken it tomorrow.
It's now within a mini toastmaster crock pot, loaded with beef and fresh veggies.

I've smoked around 25-30# of our 50# of sausages. This is the last batch out of the ice water and dried on the rack for 4 hours. They are heading to the vacuum sealer now.

Little bean soup out of a thanksgiving hambone. 1rst 2 Pics were before it cooked down. I cooked on the stove stop when i was at home and awake and in the oven sous vide at 150 when i was asleep or away for a period of time. ***Ill add another pic when i have another bowl. (Last 2pics)

I dont know how some of you go out to eat without getting up and showing the kitchen staff how to cook. Lol
When I first got married, I would not eat chicken. I guess it was from eating backyard chicken all the time. The smell of scalding the feathers and plucking chickens may be the reason but now I would love to have a big piece of backyard chicken like momma made.
Lets just hope Barney doesn't open a chicken joint. They won't be a piece of chicken left in any grocery store within 100 miles of him.
