We had mashed taters, split Brussel sprouts and tenderloin fried. Had blood on my phone from skinning the doe and didn’t take pictures while we ate. Can’t beat fresh tenderloin though.

I still use it all the time.
My mother always said the food would stick to your ribs.
Another thing is that you did not sit down and eat with a hat on, I never wore a hat but have had brothers forget to take their hats off and my mother would grab hats off their heads in a slap grab motion. Let me put it this way when she was finished their hair needed combing.

We had our belated Labor day cookout today.
Nowhere near the come unglued on the flip memorial day Ribeyes, but good none the less.
With a Kennebec tater baked on coals, imitation crab salad, garden salad and bolillo roll.
Strawberries from the freezer shortcake with real whipped cream for dessert.

Finally made it back down the road and got a couple pics of that Kousa dogwood and the berry that grows on it. They are pretty tasty and are supposed to be good for several different things from stomach problems to headaches.
