You killing me. How those ribeyes on the blackstone? I'm gonna need a new grill stone. If it wasn't for steaks, I'd get a griddle in a heartbeat. Just unsure on steaks on a griddle.

I’m not a fan of steaks on it at all and I love my griddle, best outdoor cooking apparatus ever imho. Oh you can cook one, it’s like a cast iron skillet without sides and cast iron skillet is my favorite steak....even grilled over charcoal. The problem is it doesn’t hold butter and no thus no easy basting. There are work arounds but your thinking is right on.
