I need to add a firebox to my smoker. I installed a new element today with a controller on it. I had 2 elements in it that had no controller and they kept tripping ground faults or breakers. I am gonna weld up a little 8x8 box for some charcoal to keep them Temps up bc that one element wasn't enough. Took forever to get to 200. I had to open the doors on the bottom to let air in so the hickory would ignite
Finally got around to stripping & seasoning the Christmas present the family went together & got me. First round was an old fashioned pound cake & it baked BEAUTIFULLY!!!!
I bet I could make that disappear! Pound cake is one of my favorites.

Ham and turkey on a toasted Bolillo roll topped with Gouda and provolone cheese, shredded lettuce, bell pepper, pepper rings, and ripe olives. Dressed with Hellmann's, steak sauce and Frank's.

I love those bolillo rolls for sandwiches, and they are always common in the marked down bread bin at Kroger.
