I'ma gonna tear into it here in about an hour!
Time for glaze.
I had never even heard of a cushaw pie, which caused me to issue query for "cushaw". I ordered a piece of pumpkin pie today, being that it was my only other choice over pecan pie...not a fan of either and have yet to taste it.
That looks delicious!
I love cushaw or pumpkin pie, especially with a dollop of freshly whipped cream and a sprinkle of nutmeg. Both pies are similar, but cushaw is milder than pumpkin.
I have tasted both in which I mentioned upon rare occasion only, but I would be willing to try a bite of cushaw pie. I really like only a few types of pie and am a little piglet and a half for cold blueberry pie topped with cold vanilla ice cream; that's my weakness, there. Regardless, your pie looks very pretty, for a pie, that is...
Nobody can place shellfish in front of me and expect for any of it to last very long.
I'm a blueberry à la mode fan, too.
That wasn't very nice to do to me, Barney!! All looks scrumptious!
That looks so good.
I can't hardly wait until blueberry season 2021! The frost got most of blooms this past spring and I only got a handful of berries.
I’ve got a couple of nice bushes but I can’t keep the birds off them. We covered them in nets this year and the little b’s just went under it.
'Fess up whether you or your wife made that blueberry pie. Also, I rarely read this lovely thread and such would require a long time; so, have you placed chicken and dumplings within it, as of yet? I no longer recall seeing such, while reviewing a few pages. I absolutely love homemade chicken and dumplings and for some odd reason have never attempted to prepare it, myself, even though I have been told plenty of times that it's quite easy and have prepared homemade pasta (no machine gadgets) with Steak Diane and shrimp (only once. A man whom was attending culinary school taught me that, as he learned. His was absolutely awesome...).
