Mine too looks great
Another favorite of ours.
Ground brisket(because I have a lot of it)and rice stuffed peppers sittin' in fresh mater sauce seasoned with onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and a little brown sugar.
Once out of the oven I shovel the thickened sauce over the tops.
Served with mashed taters from freshly dug Pontiacs, Roma beans, and Hickory King corn sticks. For some reason I was craving homegrown watermelon for desert...

Looks good barney
You are right. Looking again I low balled him not including a well seasoned skillet. That is my fault.
I saw the watermelon in your picture an decided that it was in the wife's best interest that I eat the leftover slice from last night.
Man , was it good. I was holding it in my left hand an cutting small slices with my right hand. Juice was running all over my left hand.
All that that I ate last night made me pee like a pet coon.
Funny you mention that well seasoned skillet. I bought it new at a local hardware store 35 years ago because it was BIG, a 14 incher! My first born was a year or so old at the time. I carried it up and placed it on the counter, and the first words out of the owners mouth was, "gonna have a big family". Well, I guess she was right, I've used that thang to feed 4 youngins over the years. It was handy in the day for roastin' multiple chickens, a few turkeys, country hams, pot roasts, biscuits, and breakfast gravy. The empty skillet feels heavy to me now when I reach for it.
Know the feeling.
barney, I got that fixin's off the chart. Hell yeah Pepsi +5 and add another +10 for the straw in the pepsi!!! Nice Kentucky meal rite there!
That's what I love about fresh watermelons. You can eat, drink, and warsh ya face in one sittin'!
Man I love stuffed peppers. My plate would be simpler, just 5 stuffed peppers.
My plate from last evening, road kill and fungus. I did put some lettuce and tomato on the plate too.
Looks great! Roadkill have have fur, feathers, or scales?
Had fur and buttons.
I have been cutting fat lately so that I can fit in my tree stands. I might write a book about my meat and shrooms diet. They have to be wild caught shrooms.
