  2. I’m already planning on fixing up a mess of older squirrel like this instead of just dumplings every time although I love squirrel dumplings.

  9. Kroger had family packs of t-bones for $7.99 per lb so I picked up a 3 pack on Friday and ate the last one today for lunch. As high as beef is right now that’s cheap eating ha. I’m starting to like those pan seared ones as good as grilled, maybe better.

  11. The loin side was medium well but still very good, while the strip was medium. I gave them 2 minutes each side on very hot cast iron and 5 minutes rest. They were about 3/4” thick you really need one 1-1/4” or better to get a good sear and still keep it medium rare, the strip was a little chewy.

The ribs that got relocated to the frig after the freezer failed finally thawed so we fired up the smoker yesterday & served 'em up with homemade zesty mac & cheese (I tossed a couple slices of ghost pepper cheese into the sauce) and buttered peas. It was lick your fingers good for sure!!!!!
