Try taking it straight out of freezer. Even better IMO.
I think my wife wants me to come home. She sent me this photo of some experimental cherry turnovers. Said they be pretty next time.

My lady was wanting to do breakfast for dinner thing tonight and wanted hash browns so I made her read this whole post, I had remembered you posting something about this And you’re the go to man for cooking. Use plenty of oil or lard, and medium low heat. Pay close attention, your nose will tell you if it's browning or burning. Enjoy!
We definitely won’t go hungry tonight. I think we Should’ve used lard and the cast iron but healthy Betty here opted for olive oil and the pretty pan. Anyhow life is good for us and we thank the big man upstairs
