Egg salad? I'm starting to get overloaded with hen berries.
Yep. 18 eggs.
Man I have always wanted to make homemade beef stew. Wow that looks great
Cheap old fashioned eatin. Fried green maters and a cold, leftover biscuit.
Barney were you getting fried green tomatoes this time of the year
Lol I was about to post page 34 of the Garden and Food Quest thread would answer your question.
Now that right there is a meal that could satisfy a feller right quick.
Have you broke into any pickled green maters yet?
Yes, they are SOUR, and damgood!
They definetly have a lil kick to them. I love the things though.
On our way home from "down South," we stopped at a few seafood markets & picked up some cheap (compared to KY prices) stuff to bring home.... Check out these crawfish/mudbugs & shrimp that made the long drive with us!
And yes, the mudbugs were still alive when we pulled them out of the ice for a "surf & turf" dinner the night we got back. Altho we froze a bunch of them and the shrimp for a "boil" once the weather gets warmer...
Look how big these shrimp were!!! You sure can't get those for $6/lb. around here!!!!
Oh my, oh my!
Oh my. That looks delicious.
I saw some shrimp about that size or a little larger last weekend at Gulf Coast Connection in ETown. Yeah. I asked. $14 a pound.
