My understanding was if a farm has been baited. It is illegal to shoot a turkey until 30 days from the time the bait is removed. I do believe the feeder can stay as long as it is empty.
You're right. My understanding was if a farm has been baited. It is illegal to shoot a turkey until 30 days from the time the bait is removed. I do believe the feeder can stay as long as it is empty.
His turkeys don't seem to like corn. 1,000s of pics on a feeder and no turkey pics..either he has no turkeys in the nearest 10 miles..or they're ninja turkeysYou're right.
Ol boy feeds from November thru July, maybe August this time he claims lol
Yeah that’s a no go, don’t understand why anyone would want to hunt them over bait. Way more fun working them and hearing them rattle the trees. You're right.

I showed two game wardens ,the craw from a gobbler I killed one morning ,told them where I killed it ,they asked the direction it came from ,I told em. They said we know where he got his corn, thats where we’re going now, they thanked me,said have a good day.i killed 2 .2 years ago that was full of wheat seed . don't know were they got in it at it was spring season . all i know is i didn't put it out. but was told if the game wardens seen it i would get in bad trouble for baiting them . i don't think thats right if they get bait from somewere close to were u are hunting way should you have to pay the price for some other persons stupid s**t ..
Trapping of coons, possums, and skunks YEAR ROUND is what needs to happen.I just hope the fish and wildlife and us turkey hunters can work out a way to curb the declining populations. I really wish they would cut back bag limits especially on hens, in the fall. And give opportunities for us to kill nest raiders.
Totally agree, sooner the better. Might as well throw coyotes in there to.Trapping of coons, possums, and skunks YEAR ROUND is what needs to happen.
Yea I was just talkin bout the nest raiders. Yea a coyote may break a egg open and lick it clean butTotally agree, sooner the better. Might as well throw coyotes in there to.
I do that tooTrapping of coons, possums, and skunks YEAR ROUND is what needs to happen.
Banks feeder. Only corn that hits the ground is what falls out of the deers mouth. Birds keep grain off the ground. I rarely see grain on the ground when I fill the feeder. His turkeys don't seem to like corn. 1,000s of pics on a feeder and no turkey pics..either he has no turkeys in the nearest 10 miles..or they're ninja turkeys
I posted earlier that I never hunt deer or turkey around my feeder. I like calling them in. Hate blind hunting.Yeah that’s a no go, don’t understand why anyone would want to hunt them over bait. Way more fun working them and hearing them rattle the trees.
Shouldn’t be hunting that close to my property line. Damn where’s the hunters etiquette these days geezi killed 2 .2 years ago that was full of wheat seed . don't know were they got in it at it was spring season . all i know is i didn't put it out. but was told if the game wardens seen it i would get in bad trouble for baiting them . i don't think thats right if they get bait from somewere close to were u are hunting way should you have to pay the price for some other persons stupid s**t ..
I doubt seriously that would hold in court. My interpretation is if it’s not on the property you’re hunting you are good. Can’t control the neighbors nor are you accountable for there actions.few years ago the guy that bordered my property dumped a gravity wagon full of corn in one spot. i could see it from my side about 200 yards away.
i asked a warden about it. he told me if i was caught hunting my own field it would be a violation.
