I showed two game wardens ,the craw from a gobbler I killed one morning ,told them where I killed it ,they asked the direction it came from ,I told em. They said we know where he got his corn, thats where we’re going now, they thanked me,said have a good day.

Last year opening morning, I got out of my truck at day break had two bird gobbling within a hundred yards of the truck across a small creek. Snuck across the creek stayed in some cedars. I must have been within 50-60 yards from them both on the roost.

I stayed quiet until they flew down, as soon as they did I gave to soft yelps and within a minute they were both strutting at 25 yards. I took a bead on one and broke his neck. The other bird took off. But kept roosting in the same general area.

I ended up calling him in again twice once to about 35 yards and once to about 50. Just couldn’t shoot him. Did not hear or see any birds other than him and the one I killed. On our place all season. Definitely a big change from years past.

His turkeys don't seem to like corn. 1,000s of pics on a feeder and no turkey pics..either he has no turkeys in the nearest 10 miles..or they're ninja turkeys
Banks feeder. Only corn that hits the ground is what falls out of the deers mouth. Birds keep grain off the ground. I rarely see grain on the ground when I fill the feeder.

few years ago the guy that bordered my property dumped a gravity wagon full of corn in one spot. i could see it from my side about 200 yards away.

i asked a warden about it. he told me if i was caught hunting my own field it would be a violation.
I doubt seriously that would hold in court. My interpretation is if it’s not on the property you’re hunting you are good. Can’t control the neighbors nor are you accountable for there actions.
