Yes I do. I have a banks gravity feeder with 4 spouts. It is mounted on a 4x4 and I put a 6” pvc pipe over the 4x4 to help control the coons. Normally I don’t start filling it until Thanksgiving and plan to end in June. I might go thru August this year. I never hunt around my feeder.
Illegal as hell March thru May, hunting or not

It don’t make a damn bit of sense to me that you can’t bait turkeys. Make it legal. Same for deer. It’s illegal so the illegal hunters have an advantage. Let there be 10 corn piles on every farm and it won’t make a damn bit of difference. But I can go out my front door fire the tractor up in march open up a spot and put 500 lbs of wheat on it let it sit on top the ground get the field full of turkeys then go dress it up right before season and cultipack it in and I’m legal as hell. Ye that makes a lot of sense. Your only allowed 2 birds and one bird a day so why does it matter how you kill them? If numbers are a problem then that’s a whole different can of worms all together.

GW told me most people get tickets from not reading the rules, especially the changes made that year.

The Game Warden was probably right about folks not reading the rules. Sometimes the rules are kinda blurry and sometimes they are spelled out pretty easy for you.

My joy (turkey hunting)comes from reversing what actually happens in nature, and getting the Tom to come to me. I’ve used decoys and that’s ok, but nothing is better than him, me, my shotgun, and my diaphragm. If I had to sit in a blind and hope they came by I wouldn’t bother with it. To each his own though.
