Time to trade in the pink Barbie doll combo.
No wonder you only fish top waters. Probably only make four casts a day with a crankbait!
Anyone use fiberglass rods for crankbaits? I bought one a year ago and I absolutely hate it. I lose close to 50% of fish on it.
Perfect speed for deep divers....
I throw deep running cranks on a glass David Fritt's model. Rarely lose a fish. Very soft tip. Let's them get it good.
I have a st croix mojo glass and its way to slow for me or I’m way to slow for it.
I’m like CRF with deep crankbaits, crank them as fast as possible.
cant say i know anything about fishing, cept i like to. i have a reel, ABU ambassadeur, 6500, made in sweden. it still has the berkley nylon braided line on it. 35lbs. i still got a 100 yr berkley braided nylon, 15lbs, never been used.
cant say i ever caught any fish on the 35 test, but it would cast good with the 35lbs line on it. the line was multi-color. i could only cast 100 or so ft', with it, 1 oz weight. ya had to adjust the bushings on both sides. i didnt have tangle problems. i wish i could tell ya what name the rod was. no cork, has wood at the handle.
sh#t, i forgot what i was going to say, or ask. nevermind..
oh, now i remember, i liked the line back then.. didnt tangle...
