Time will tell. Probably prudent to be well stocked with pork, before price increases. As for the law breakers, they are illegal aliens, and every last one of them should be quickly deported back to their place of origin (they aren't all from Haiti), blacklisted from ever returning. The only exception should be the recently born anchor babies, while not their relative(s) having broken the law.
Pork has a shelf life . I like to keep it under 8 months. Sausage under 3 months. It will start tasting old and is not so good unless it is salted pork. Salted hams , shoulders and midlands will keep several years.

We never kept pigs upon our farm (neighbor did and such was enough smell). When we would slaughter one of the Black Angus, we ensured that it was kept no longer than six months within the deep freeze and handled all meats in such fashion. I continue to do so to this very day. I trust nothing over six months.

Interesting, but who knows if this info from Wikipedia is true....I remember stories - again, who knows if they were true - that the CIA introduced resistant strains of syphilis in prostitutes in Vietnam back in the 60s....

Six years after the event, the newspaper Newsday, citing untraceable sources,[21][22] claimed that anti-Castro saboteurs, with at least the tacit backing of U.S. Central Intelligence Agency officials, allegedly introduced African swine fever virus into Cuba six weeks before the outbreak in 1971, to destabilize the Cuban economy and encourage domestic opposition to Fidel Castro. The virus was allegedly delivered to the operatives from an army base in the Panama Canal Zone by an unnamed U.S. intelligence source.[23][24]

I believe the highlighted portion to be accurate. The colonel was stationed there and relayed stories over the years.

Hate to disagree, but just cause your mom gives birth in the US, being an illegal, shouldnt be a right to citizenship.

Hate to disagree, but just cause your mom gives birth in the US, being an illegal, shouldnt be a right to citizenship.

Your stance would be fine during our Civil War and beforehand, but the post-Civil War Reconstruction period took place, resulting in three amendments to our U.S. Constitution.

"All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside."

That stated, nobody should have been permitted past our border. Those horses should have been permitted to run them back into Mexico. I would not have had any issue, if the illegal aliens had been whipped by those reins, preggo or not. Those foreigners have broken our law. I view such as an invasion by criminals.

Thats an old amendment, times are a bit different i cant see yet, by any videos, where reins were used to whip anybody, cept the horse. i carried a whip riding thoroughbreds, the only time i used it, [once i learned to ride]. left a welp on the horse. i felt bad for doing this. i just smacked my boot. usually. not the horse. still got that stick. 31" 3/4 long. was in the late 70's i got it. had to quit it, riding race horses, 1987.
course the horses aint race horses, still, you would have to be awful talented to hit anyone with the reins. a bull-whip would be necessary, an you have to hit a moving target, while on a moving horse, while in control of the horse. a picture aint worth a thousand words, when its manipulated, nor a video. by the media.
