Pork has a shelf life . I like to keep it under 8 months. Sausage under 3 months. It will start tasting old and is not so good unless it is salted pork. Salted hams , shoulders and midlands will keep several years.Time will tell. Probably prudent to be well stocked with pork, before price increases. As for the law breakers, they are illegal aliens, and every last one of them should be quickly deported back to their place of origin (they aren't all from Haiti), blacklisted from ever returning. The only exception should be the recently born anchor babies, while not their relative(s) having broken the law.
