I don't often conceal carry my weapon. I leave it in the car. Personal choice. But I didn't realize how many guns thieves target cars and trucks....Interesting article.

MY old truck has a secret compartment that I can hide one and get to it in two seconds. My new one I haven't really looked what to do with a gun. They will hit the obvious like a glove box or console. Maybe pushing it by the seat would work?

Had some boys come down to Louisiana to help us with a VA hospital addition and one of our buddies had his stolen from under the seat right in VA parking lot 200 yds from our sight with security on duty. Police found it a year later and I went and signed for it and took it back to Michigan for him.
Crazy they'll break in during day with security on duty

I nearly always either carry mine or lock it in a small safe in my truck that's cabled to my passenger seat base and stowed underneath. It's not perfect, but the scum will have to work for it.
