Just talked to my aunt-widow of my Uncle Stevie. Hadn't talked to her in a month or so. She informed me she was going to sell in the Spring. I have been expecting it, because 8 acres is just too much for her to take care of. Then she told me why she decided to sell. Somebody has come in there and netted the fish out of the pond. She said a couple of weeks ago she noticed that the fish food can had been messed with, but didn't think much about it. She went out on the dock for 4-5 straight afternoons and threw out food and bread. Normally, the water boils with big bluegills and catfish. Not a single fish came in. I asked her who would do it, and she is pretty certain she knows. One person had mentioned getting the fish out and putting in his pond a couple of times. No way to prove it, but knowing this SOB, I'd bet he is the culprit. She is sick about losing those fish that Stevie babied like children.

No, she lives near Bon Ayr. Barren County. The property is about 8 acres. The pond is 1.5-2 acres.

That’s a shame. My uncle stopped fishing in his pond for the same reason.

Sorry to hear that. Most people have no respect for anyone or anything anymore.

I dont see how they could have caught all the fish out of a pond that size.
Fish may have went deep due to hot weather

Obviously they didn’t get them all. But they got a butt load. No fish coming to the feed. It’s normally a frenzy of gills and cats.

Go throw the bait in his pond, if they boil...you've got your confirmation.

They definitely did. She discovered the feed can disturbed twice, thought it was coons. Then moved it, and put a brick on it. It was disturbed again. At least three visits.... She's not said anything, and now has security cams setup, hoping they come back.

Otter? It would take a lot of wok to clean out a pond.
