I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get green army olive drab paint for my boat. I really appreciate it or what paint type do you recommend using on it. My dad originally used army paint

Last year I used the rustoleum (spelling?) drab green for my base coat then the spray can brown and black to add contrast when I repainted my duck boat last season.

Yes, when I did mine, I used a wire wheel brush on a hammer drill to prep surface. Then used the grey walmart rattle can primer,, let set for 24 hours before i used the flat paint. Paint job lasted years.

By the way, use a respirator when sanding that old army paint off. It probably had lead in it.

Was just in Rural King and they have gallons of flat OD green for $19.98, Quarts were $9.98 and spray cans were $4.99. You may not have a Rural King in your area but they do sell online at www.ruralking.com
