I've done the same thing. Get tired and the inside of my arm creeps in without me realizing it. Got a real bad one, one time that resulted in basically a sack of liquid accumulating on my arm! It got pretty rough looking! LOL!

Wife has been buying new camo, shooting crossbow and rifles getting prepared.

We have been cooking the last deer meat in freezer this week “getting the Eye of the Tiger”. A lone Backstrap.

It’s been so pretty and cool this week I would have hunted everyday.

I would be thrilled to take him anytime! But this is my hunting buddies property, his cam, and near his stand! I’m just tickled to hunt the property with him!

I always meat hunt early season but if that buck stepped out I’m not passing on account of it being in velvet.

Need some cooler weather to come on!! I can skin a deer as fast as anybody but the heat makes me nervous if I don’t get a heart shot out of the gate.

Compound. I do it when I fatigue. I don’t feel pain properly, it doesn’t hurt, just looks silly.

That was my last group, I always shoot last shots of day splitting pins at odd yardages, off my knees, sitting down and to my weak side. My deer usually aren’t at 20 yards to my left.
Your draw length too long on your bow?

Ashamed to say only been hunting twice, and very half heartedly. A funeral, a hospital procedure, week of traveling, and the epizudy cruds has left me with little desire. Here being retired i was convinced id be the hunting machine, yet not so.
Maybe as the weather cools. 3 trips total planned, all to LBL, one a bowhunt, one a youth hunt, and one a gun hunt at that!
Only be the second time in over 25 years, but i must say the last time, i had fun, even though i never dropped the hammer.
Something about easing along in the woods is just more fun, than boring hours in a treestand. I look forward to it!
Ya’ll have fun, and be careful.
