Chester i dont see it for awhile yet. They have so many back orders for them now it might take a year ot 2 before they get that way again. My opinion tho.
I hope it is sooner than later...I would really like to get my hands on one in the near future.

I have seen some on the shelves here lately. I didn't check the prices, but I know it has been a while since I have seen any for sale. I have been thinking that by July, you should be able to go pick one up just about anywhere, barring some kind of ban, which I still think is highly unlikely. I think at the point where they start to show up on the shelves, you'll also see lots of folks that bought them to flip at a higher price will be desperately trying to unload them before the prices fall even further. Right now is a terrible time to buy. I think if you hold out for another 90 days or so, you would come out much better. I kinda doubt we'll see pallets of Double Star and S&W AR's for $599 like we did last year that they couldn't give away, but prices will definitely come down. If no legislation comes out, the market will be absolutely flooded later this year.

My wife is wanting me to hold out til July (my birthday) to get me one anyhow...sounds like waiting a few more months will only help. I hate to say it but I am still like a kid...when I want something, I want it now. I hate having to wait and I am still somewhat leery about a possible ban.

Gander Mt. has Bushmaster AR-15 in stock online. Its still high there. The local gun shop has 7 Bushmaster C15 AR-15 in stock for 699. Its getting better people. Don't get sucked in and pay crazy gouging prices.

I stopped by a gun shop here in Arkansas this morning and they had some AR's on consignment for lower than they had been prices. I don't know how much lower they were, or if they're bargains yet, but I just happened to be around the counter when one customer made the comment, "wow, these AR prices are really starting to come down". Then several customers and the clerk had a conversation about how people that owned them before the run on them were starting to sell them and were undercutting the people who bought them to try to flip them.

This place also had some .223 ammo in stock. It was some kind of imported FMJ. They also had some imported soft point .308. And a lot of .17hmr, but no .22lr.
