1998 mossberg 500, factory extended choke, with any cheap 3” #5 or #6 winchesters loads I can find. But if I had a great money flow I would use tss. Heard nothing but good things.
My first dedicated turkey gun was Mossberg 500 I bought at Walmart. Shot 3” Active 21/4 oz shells. Those Activ loads made almost any gun a killing machine. Mossberg 500 is a great shotgun.

I’ll probably use the last of my 12 gauge turkey loads out of dads bps. I’m solid out to 50. If I was feeling it I could go 55-60. Rolled a yote at 60 with it.

I’ll always have my 12ga to fall back on but with ammo technology these days I’ll be using 20ga and 410
When your putting 250-300 shot in a 10in circle at 40yds with smaller calibers and ya don’t get killed with recoil it’s a no brainer for me

Save your GUN and buy the Federal.

I'm sure every gun is different but I shot several TSS loads in my 21 inch barrel rem 870 20ga several years ago when I switched to a 20 and it wasn't even a close comparison. Apex out performed all others by leaps and bounds and is incredibly consistent shot to shot.
