I know they are high. curious who is running one, what brand, what’s a good value option that is reliable ?
I have the Hogster 35 great for the money's! I like the super Hogster reticels better but being my first and costing more I stayed with the 35, they make a 25 but I think it's to small. 2,675.00 get a external battery those little battery's will eat you up and the external will run all night. Thermal optics plus gives you the external battery in the deal.
I will say Its been said to avoid ATN, due poor quality and terrible customer service. Bering optics as riverboss suggest. Pulsar thermion makes an xm 30 with the mount for 2300 I think. Either of those come with good warranty and great customer service. Sure there are other options out there as well. Depends on how much you want to spend ,but lots of options under 4k. Check out the videos on youtube The late night vision show - they have reviewed most brands and provide tons of information.
Atn's are heavy and have a bad rap! Pulsars are supposed to be nice I have a pulsar scanner but it's there bottom of the line scanner. It works like it should, Just do your homework with 384 resolution your lowest setting or power will be the clearest pic, after that it gets blurry, with a 640 resolution it's alot clearer, but it cost twice as much! So you want around a 3 power base scope it's hard to shoot 150 yrds on 1 1/2 power scope.
