We are suppose to have some heavy rain early next week but I was hoping for snow.
Your farm isn't 5 miles from me and it's wet where I'm at. Been muddy all winter. Hell, the river was out in a few btms not 2 weeks ago!
I have only seen snowflakes twice these year, I do believe, resulting only in light dusting in high spots, if any accumulation at all. Still patiently awaiting one decent snowfall before spring.
I'm going to plow Saturday if it doesn't rain.
I've been slopping in the mud all winter feeding cows. Try to feed when the ground is frozen but that hasn't been very often either. Definitely couldn't break ground over this way this weekend. I'm going to try to cut some locust post if the ground dries a bit or is frozen Saturday.
Those pictures say a lot more than mud. We can’t even imagine can we? Been pretty wet here but last few days have been nice.
I got rid of all my cows for that very reason. I got tired of the mud. Last few years have been horrible. I'm buying some young steers in a month and a half or so and kissing them bye around deer season.
buy in the spring, sell in the fall.
Just great, I am sure now it will be constant flooding from here on out. You guys don't know anything about how a jinx works with farming.
Way too dry for me!! Not a bit of backwater at all.
The Mississippi River, She's a going dry.......
I spied my very first flea late last night and just noticed one of my dogs scratching. My dogs and cat along with the house will now be treated. Seems very odd that fleas would emerge this time of year, during this frigid weather, but the stink bugs have been coming out of dormancy, as well.
Dry here at work even with this 251k water leak we got. Been digging for two days. Still haven’t found it. My guess lost river cave is seeing a rise in water.
You are supposed to be in bed, resting.
I’m a lead and I’m fortunate to have some good guys.
You try those neomycin sulfate pills that I recommended?
