Seen these in the woods behind my house today and was curious what they are.

Looks like pear shaped puffball (or stump puffball) to me, (could be small destroying angels too so dont eat them.)

Yes, these are puffballs. If they were growing on wood, as the picture suggests, they could not have been an Amanita.

Identification: - Puff Balls or Young Amanitas (Destroying Angels)? ASAP.
