    That's the rare San Francisco Prober plant (Latin: Gayus Stickus Inus).

    It's a shaggy apple ... they're supposed to be twice a tasty as regular apples.

    It might be the Pachystachys Lutea. But I've only seen it in "yellow", not red like your picture.

    I've never seen this plant on my property. I assume it is a wildflower?
