What’s a “swing duck?” That’s disgusting if that’s how this went down

Ducks that are swinging out, in a circle, probably commuting to another decoy spread.

Just read this on another post! If this is the Legit reason behind the shootings what in the world is going on! Taking someone’s life over a couple of ducks! I know it’s been a bad season but geez!!!

That's awful. I've been mad over that same thing before, downright pissed, but damn.

So what’s the scenario? You have ducks coming in to your set up and they fly off to someone else’s close by? The second person isn’t supposed to shoot? I ask because I don’t know.

So the birds flare, and circle for another look. They fly in range of another blind. Said blind isn’t suppoda shoot. BS. They paid to hunt too. So sad. Damn.

Ed , a hunter should have enough respect for other hunters, not to shoot ducks commuted to another blind. but its not that way anymore. a scenario would be and I dont remember the distance between blinds, I have hunted there a lot but its been a long time
a simple example would be you and I are in a blind, hit a call a lick and get the ducks attention , sometimes they will fall right in if the wind is right. Ducks will always land into the wind. so we got these ducks attention they may swing wide a couple times making a wide circle over us, looking things over and setting up to land into the wind, we got the ducks commited to our decoy spread, but on one of these wide swings they get close enough to another blind, they shoot, more times than not they are not close enough to shoot but they do, where we had them commuting to us, they shot and messed us up, bout the only way I know to explain it.

So would those 2 blinds be close enough for someone to shoot the guys in the other blind? Or would have group have to go confront the other?

Ducks work your spread in a circle most times. And the other blind is more times than not just sky busting the birds, shooting way too far. Kinda "if we can't have em then neither can you" type shit.
