I have a grandson coming in for a week and he wants to get into the white bass.
I have never beenUsed to love going after white bass. Haven’t been in many years.
Water isn't too cold, they've done came and went. Notice all those paths trodded down both sides? That was from three weeks ago. Caught the fire outta them for 2-3 weeks. When the water dropped they all went back downriver. Before yesterday's rain you could walk completely across most spots at Broadford and not be waist deep, they've been gone for almost two weeks....I just fished Monday afternoon (apr 4th) at Bacon Creek, and drove up to Broad Ford, spent over 3 hours, and never got a single bite. Spoke to 5 other fishermen, and no one had caught a fish. Seems that the water is still too cold, was right at 50 degrees.
