Just climbed up and settled. Still looking for a big one but I don’t have high hopes. Couldn’t miss the opportunity to hunt this snow.

I intended to, but I'd rut the hell out of my BIL's field driving in. 3/4 mile to the shooting house. Hopefully next weekend will be good weather.

Twin fawns stepped up to the corn @ 3:20. No clue that I was there until the wind shifted from S to E then tails up and off they go.

I had great plans this weekend but all heck broke loose at work this morning. Got woke up with a call… had to find babysitter at daylight and just got home.

Good sit tonight. Saw 22 deer total but only one buck. More than half ended up in easy bow range. Just don’t need another doe for the freezer and the buck was a young one that needs 2 more years.

Didn't expect to get out anymore this season but got to tonight. Good sit this evening. Does wouldn't come into range but fun to watch. Wind screwed me a couple times. Had one shed buck come in at about 5. Young deer with 2 bloody scabs on his head. Had a very large bodied deer come in right at the edge of dark. If it was a doe it was a world record doe. At that point it was last light and I just couldn't confirm and I know there is a good buck still in there so I let it walk. Better safe than sorry. Left a cam on my way out to do some inventory

I went with my boys. I let them hunt the stands and I sat on the ground down over the hill on a rub line I found. Not expecting to see anything, I had 6 come in at a fast trot. It’s been a while since I shot one from the ground and it was sure exciting. She’s not a huge doe but she finishes up my year. Very thankful for the meat and 2 young men that like to share the experience with me.
