Lets see them pictures
No pics here ........ I've been shut out. Haven't seen a legal buck all year. Having said that, during my 2 weeks of vacation there weren't a dozen areas open.
Haven't heard a peep. I just wasn't enthused with what was offered so I sat out the wknd. My son sat daylight to quitting time Sat and saw *1* deer all day,a decent buck hes now wishing he shot.He saw *0* Sunday. These are areas that weren't open for bow and the only pressure received were from the youth wknd a month ago. I told him 30 years ago he would've seen 50 deer in that saddle and 20 would be bucks. Whatever is going on over there ain't good. The population has taken a dive much worse than what is being let on.
I was there all day Saturday. I saw 5 does and a very small 6 pointer. I'm assuming that there will be more areas open the 2nd weekend. I live next to Knox and something to remember is that the 101st airborne from Fort Campbell was training on Knox almost up to the first weekend. Good luck to everyone.
Bunch of shots up til 9:00 Saturday morning near Belmont gate. Heard 120 something deer were checked in Saturday, less than half that Sunday, don't know how accurate that is.
Heard a big one came out of 103.
Saw 5 deer Saturday and 8 on Sunday no good bucks
From their facebook page.
Hope the link works. If not just search fort Knox fish and wildlife.
Some really nice bucks shot there. Congrats to the hunters. I guess a buck there does not count to the state lic?
Very nice bucks. Thanks for posting.
Damn, you're some of the only ones I've heard that's done good there this weekend. You've got a secret funnel in an unnamed area I see.
Looks like some nice ones were killed again this year
Been hunting knox for 24 years. I've learned a whole lot about that place and love going over there! Made so many memories there over the years with family and friends. My dad used to hunt it when he was younger and told me some awesome stories. Ill keep going as long as the good Lord allows it.
Too far for me to go and hunt. I have friends that hunt there and always do well.
Several of them hunted LBL this year.
I’ll have enough points next year to get back on the only archery quota that matters to me. I usually get drawn every year, no one to split points with this year.
