Anybody out tonight in this beautiful weather? I’m 20 ft up in Marion co watching two big white oaks raining acorns. Been in since 4 already had 6 doe filter through at 15 yds or less. Waiting on Mr Big tonight.

Saw a stud earlier near my buddies farm. I’m planning on going Sunday morning there and Sat evening hitting some public ground.

My oaks here at my farm are very spotty this year. They are either loaded or none at all. When you find the one they are dropping tho they are on it right now. I’m up to 8 doe and an Alabama 11 point so far.

Ended up seeing about 15 deer but no shooters. Was a perfect September evening to be in the woods!

I was finally able to get out for my 1st hunt of the season. Saw 4 does, 1 of which actually bedded down next to the feeder waiting for it to go off at 5:00.

Saw 3 doe this AM and a flock of turkeys. Had other family hunting today. Figured I better hold out for a buck so I didn’t end up skinning out 2-3 before church 🤣.

Had my first sit of the year this evening. Not much happening. Seen a basket rack 6 and a young 8.

Decent …… Crazy thing is he only went 75 yds before going down so I waited in stand another 30 -40 minutes till dark. Walked up on him and coyotes had already started on his hind end .
