I was wondering if there were any saddle hunters on here. Im running a tethrd mantis, treehopper ring of steps, and im one sticking.
I don't understand a word you just said.........
:D

My bro added the saddle to his arsenal. He's killed two deer with it and really likes it. I don't think he could sit in it all day but he likes the versatility.

What he doesn't like......me sending him spiderman GIFs while he's on stand in that thing:)

Anyone using a crossbow out of the saddle. I have a few times now and will say I don’t like it. Compound you can really move and twist around for shot opportunities, crossbow too wide and just awkward up in the tree

I have been saddle hunting for 6 years and sold all of my climbers except one. I currently have the Quidos web, Kestral, Kestral Flex and just got the JX3 this year and absolutely love my JX3.....can sit all day in it and planning on selling 2 of my others. I climb with either my wild edge steps with a perch or my 17in leverage sticks using just a swaider. It's not for everyone but it is definitely easier to find a tree where you need it. By the way older guys can do it as well......I'm 50:)

I gotta spot I wanna hunt but there isn't a decent tree so I'm dipping my toes in the water so to speak. I got a aero hunter not sure which model. My ex BIL is Big into it and actually designed and sells some type of system that makes moving the prussic knot easier.
Anyhow he hooked me up with a bunch of gear that I think I can figure out lol. I'll b surprised if I can make it 3 hours right now tho.
