My experience say something like Oct 25-nov15. I agree with bgkyarcher that the buck are very responsive to calling around end of Oct and 1st few days of November. Thats been my experience anyway. best wishes!!

My absolute favorite time to hunt is last week of October-first week of November. Most action and response to calls/rattling/lures. But to answer your question, my guess would be rut would take place around beginning/middle of November. Seems to usually be the case here in my neck of the woods (wky)

The two weeks following Halloween are my favorite. I like to try to take 3-5 days before modern gun opener and the first few week days of modern gun as I like to gun and bow hunt both.

I'm predicting a decrease in rut activity over previous years... Due to the "rainbow effect", half the bucks will never leave the bachelor groups... :D

The first week of November will be the best for seeing activity, every year IMO. That said I hope my either sex tag is gone the first week of season...

I'll definitely be bow hunting the week leading up to the gun season opener. New moon on 11/11/15 will hopefully set things up for a nice week.

Trickle rut this year.. Last week of October, I predict will be best hunting for traditional rutting activities, seeking/chasing.

All the deer will become gay with the new laws in effect, get some buck sack scent and hang a rainbow flag from your stand first week of Nov

It's easy to calculate. You take the first fall frost, add 26 days, subtract 3 days if it's on a new moon, add the number of rain inches, minus the number of fogs in August, tack on the circumference of your largest pumpkin and you should be right on! (plus or minus 3.5 days).

I thought you had divide the last number by how many spider crickets you find in your basement?

Definitely a good calendar for bow hunters.
