I prefer mine dredged in Zatarain's and fried to a golden crisp in D'ral !
before I knew what sushi was, I ate raw tuna on a fishtrip off costa rica.
Sushi cant touch it.

I had a date with my 4 year old at one of the local sushi joints last night. If you ever ask her where she would like to go eat, you will have a fight on your hands if you do not take her to her first pick... which is always going to be the Thai/sushi restaurant.
She loves it.
I feel sorry for the boys that ask her out later in life. She will never be a cheap date.

I want my stuff cooked. I've cleaned to many animals, not to. I've see alot of things I didn't want to. To each his own though.

I've had a few types and would prefer a grilled salmon teriyaki glazed strip in a sushi roll. Not much of a fan of squishy cold meat. I've even tried raw oysters, clams, fish eggs etc. Not my cup of tea. I love every type of fish and mollusk cooked, but cannot eat the fish eggs or fish raw.
For all of you that love the sashimi, would you prefer to filet and eat those Crappie you catch raw, or fry them up? Heck even cooked on a cast iron plate over a fire with butter, pepper and lime juice would be good too.
If freshwater fish didn't have so many parasites, I would give it a go.
