Or any other turkey affiliated members of something worth while to donate too?
Used to be on the NWTF and DU band wagon! Got tired of watching all the money go to other states and all the big wigs getting to go there and hunt.
NWTF, DU, and QDMA donor. Dumbass, for short
Yes, since the early '90s.
NWTF, PF, RGS & AWS. Agree with Meatstick. I donate to keep my license to bitch
NWTF, PF, RGS, KGHA & gonna join BHA!
Nwtf and bha. Also donate to some non-hunting related conservation organizations.
Not hunting related... but I will put in a plug for an organization I've been giving to for years. It's called Reel Recovery. They sponsor fly fishing retreats for men battling cancer. It's a good cause. Lookem up and give them a few dollars and know it's going to a good cause.
It couldn’t have been said better
Same here nwtf is a joke . Was good at one time.
Was NWTF and DU way back in the 80s. Got out of both in 1991
I’m not a member and can’t really comment on it but got a story to tell. I got drawn for a cow elk archery tag in 2011 and a private land owner let us camp and hunt. There was another camper/hunter there with his wife. Guy was a big wig with the NWTF. Talked about all the banquets he attended and celebrity guests and blah, blah, blah. He would drive up to our camp and that’s all he’d talk about. He really turned me off when he acted like crossbows and crossbow hunters were the devil. He also talked about all the big hunts all over the place he’d been on. Well, for such a great hunter, he got frustrated after the first two days and went back home to “recharge the batteries”. Dad and I hunted hard for 5 days. I didn’t see a cow but had about a 23 Yd encounter with a giant bull. That dude acted like the landowner was crazy and there just weren’t that many elk there. He drove his 4 wheeler to the top of the mountain each morning set in a blind and was back at his camp by 10am. I’m hoping that organization has better folks than that blowhard.
Past chapter president and sponsor member of NWTF for years. I got to help release birds and do some other really good things, especially with the JAKES program. Met a lot of good folks but things changed when some leadership positions changed. That’s about all I’ll say.
