same in Spencer co. they dont respond. must be really busy or something..
Good luck on getting a surveyor. I’ve never seen anything like it. They are months behind. And that’s if you can even get them to return calls. I’ve got 2, acre tracts I’ve been trying to get surveyed since February. Took a month just to make contact with some. Haven’t heard a peep since.
The public sites provided by PVA and subsequently used by OnX and others are not precise and should not be relied upon instead of a survey. When we lived in Louisville, the guy redraw the line for our home while I was on the phone with him, explaining what our deed said, versus what the PVA had on their map. Never trust those sites if legal issues arise.
I just recently purchased a farm and had a building tract surveyed off of it and from my first contact with the surveyor to the time he was complete way about only about 6 weeks.
Exactly! I know of two farms that are way off. One in Hart Co chops off a 20 acre chunk and another in Edmonson county has almost 400 acres listed to the wrong owner.
Was on a 4 man survey team when I was 16 and now they do surveys with one guy. Just recently a neighbor had bought a farm that was suspose to be 65 acres. When he had it surveyed it was 49 acres. He took it to court and got money back for the 16 acres.
Does any of you have this ?
It looks like it is easy to use but I am no good at things like this and spending $100 is taking a chance that I will never figure it out.
I need it to plot out a survey from a deed.
